Still looking for something to do for Valentine’s Day? Here are some ideas on what to do around St. Louis this weekend. But it’s only a couple of days away, so make reservations or buy tickets now before it’s too late!
Untamed Hearts at the St. Louis Zoo – A gourmet four course meal by candlelight is followed by an entertaining look at the details of animal attraction. This Saturday and Sunday night, from 6 to 8:30 pm. Today is the last day for reservations, so hurry! The zoo is also offering a Valentine’s adoption package – adopt a King Penguin for $40 and get a stuffed penguin, adoption certificate, and more.
Valentine’s Romance at the St Louis Symphony Orchestra – Listen to the symphony perform Valentine’s Day themed music in Powell Hall. Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture, Berlioz’s Love Scene from Romeo et Juliette, plus more romantic music will be featured this Sunday at 3 pm.
Love in the Loop – there is always plenty to do at the Loop, but this weekend there will be even more reason to go. Free carriage rides from 7 to 10 pm, window displays, and Valentine’s weekend sales specials at over 20 shops and restaurants. Many stores are offering 10-20% off or free chocolate, candy, or champagne while you shop.
Little Hills Winery in St. Charles – Set in historic St. Charles, this winery is a great place to go for Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a variety of wines and live music. This Saturday night, the renowned Carolbeth True Jazz Quartet will be featured from 6 to 10 pm. They also offer a full dinner menu, with Valentine’s Day specials.
