The 26th annual St. Louis Thanksgiving Day Parade is coming up! The theme of this year’s parade is “Family Holiday Magic”.
The Thanksgiving Parade starts at 8:45 am at the corner of Washington Avenue and N. Fourth Street in downtown. Find a spot on the parade route as it heads South on N. Fourth Street to Market Street, then West on Market Street and ends at 14th Street. Here is a map of the 2010 parade route:
This year’s Grand Marshal will be Ernie Hays, longtime organist at Busch Stadium. Watch dozens of amazing floats and colorful helium balloons go by, as well as area marching bands and the Battle of the Bands!
You can also watch performances by Variety Kids, Muny Kids, and Sunday Afternoon on the stage in front of the Old Courthouse from 8 – 9 am.
The KMOV Channel 4 “Great Day St. Louis” pre-parade show starts at 8:00 am and if you can’t be there for the parade, you can watch it live on KMOV-TV Channel 4 from 8 – 11 am.
