Rombach Farms in Chesterfield is one of the most popular pumpkin patches in the St Louis area.  Families make a tradition out of coming every year, some driving from all over Missouri and nearby states just to visit.

Picking out the perfect pumpkin from the field is only a part of what makes Rombach Pumpkin Farm special.  Kids of all ages will enjoy pony rides, hay rides, face painting, barrel train rides, a blow-up haunted house and more.  Entry to Rombach Farm is free, but activities range from $3 – $5 each. Pumpkins start around $4.

Plus, enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, kabobs, lemonade, and hot apple cider, too! There is also a country store with fresh produce, jellies and jams.  You can easily spend a day here enjoying all of the fun!

There is free parking and they are open 7 days a week, from 9 AM – 6 PM.

You can find out more about Rombach Farm from their website or their Facebook page.

    Gypsy Caravan St. Louis

This coming Monday, May 31st (Memorial Day) is the 38th annual Gypsy Caravan in St. Louis.  Held at UMSL (University Missouri – St Louis), this huge flea market is held to help raise money for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. The Gypsy Caravan is one of the biggest antique, craft, and flea markets in the Midwest and 25,000 people are expected to attend.  Over 300 booths will be there, offering jewelry, crafts, antiques, furniture, yard art, and more. Last year I bought a beautiful glass mosaic bird house for my yard along with some fun antique jewelry. Also, there are also plenty of food booths – the crab rangoon is my favorite every year!

It is $5 to enter ($20 for early birds between 7 – 9 am). This fee goes towards the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Check out the Gypsy Caravan website for more details.
